Who We Are

Sagara is a wellness education institution specializing in cold immersion therapy and Himalayan Pranayama.

We teach people how to use breath and cold as tools for nervous system regulation, mental resilience, and personal growth.

We're based in the Philippines and serve individuals, teams, and organizations nationwide and internationally.

Accredited By

We teach practical tools grounded in respiratory science, yogic lineage, and modern nervous system research.

We explain why the practices work and guide people through them safely, so they leave with skills they can use on their own.

Every program we run is designed to give people a real understanding of what's happening in their body and a set of tools they can practice independently, whether they're managing stress, recovering from burnout, or building resilience for the work they do.

Sagara is the only certifying body for Cold Immersion Therapy and Himalayan Pranayama in the Philippines and Asia.

When people leave our programs feeling different than when they arrived, and when the tools we taught them keep working weeks and months later, that's how we know we did our job.

Our Mission

We started Sagara because we believe that learning how to regulate your own nervous system is one of the most useful skills a person can have, and that it shouldn't require flying overseas or spending months in training to access it.

Trained by Sagara

The Sagara Method

Tools You Keep

Every person who trains with us leaves with practical skills they can use independently. We teach the science so the work continues on your own terms.

Safety as a Standard

We screen every participant, train our facilitators to read the room, and adjust every session in real time. Safety is built into the structure of every program we offer.

The Sagara Circle

Our alumni and practitioner community stays connected beyond the training, sharing what they're learning and supporting each other as the practice deepens.

Old Practice, Modern Understanding

Our breathwork is rooted in Himalayan Pranayama, paired with current research in polyvagal theory and respiratory physiology so you understand what each technique does and why.

We start where you are and build from there, gradually and with intention. There is no rushing and no forcing. You are never expected to perform beyond what your body is ready for.

Capacity First

Our Team

Naz Nekoudast, Co-Founder

Naz studied applied physics, art, and industrial design before she ever stepped on a yoga mat, and that background shows up in everything she teaches. Her classes blend anatomy, quantum physics concepts, and movement exploration with Vinyasa, Hatha, Tai Chi, Qigong, and breathing techniques.

She's a self-described anatomy geek who gets genuinely excited about how bodies work. Arm balances are her thing, and so is making people feel safe enough to try them. Learning to breathe with intention changed her life, and she teaches to share what that practice gave her.

Mark Beltran, Co-Founder

Mark spent over a decade traveling the world as a magician and street performer. In 2016, a violent assault left him blinded in one eye and forced him to rebuild his life from the ground up. He turned toward yoga, then breathwork, pranayama, and cold immersion, eventually co-founding Sagara.

He now teaches over a dozen breathwork and pranayama techniques alongside cold immersion methodology. His facilitation carries the energy of a performer and the steadiness of someone who has done real inner work.

Tamara is a Chemical Engineer and R&D Team Lead in the food and beverage industry. After years of chronic stress and burnout, she found breathwork and cold immersion and trained as a Sagara Certified CIT Facilitator to share what helped her.

Outside of Sagara, she pole dances, sings, and takes every dance class she can find. She brings that same energy to facilitation: grounded and fully present. Her focus is helping people feel steady in their everyday lives.

Michael was already in the wellness space when he found Sagara, practicing Vinyasa yoga, breathwork, and sound healing. He trained in CIT and joined the team as Art Director.

At Sagara, he captures the real moments of facilitation and gives people who've never experienced cold immersion a way to see themselves in it. What he brings is happiness, a camera, and a way of seeing things that makes the work feel human.

Luc overrationalizes and underfeels, and for most of his life it kept him stuck. Breathwork and cold immersion taught him to reverse that pattern. He came to Sagara out of curiosity, trained as a Certified CIT Facilitator, and now helps build the brand's digital marketing while guiding people through breathwork and ice.

By day he's an SEO Content Strategist, and when he's not working or facilitating, he's bouldering or freediving. He helps people see that there's more in them than the tired version of themselves they've gotten used to.

Nami Cabales

"I thought I enrolled for a teacher training but it seems like I was in a healing and transformational retreat. More than the need to learn theories and skills, Sagara has perfectly lead us to a humbling experience of teaching ourselves first, emptying our own cups and learning from the simplest lessons in life.

The training has not just honed my skill of nurturing people, but has also sheltered my own space into healing and transformation.

Our teachers Mark, Naz and Guilly were a perfect team that touches every aspect of our individualities thru their own crafts—they were a safe space, a home, the best teachers and mentors."

Martin Luz Cruz

"I signed up for this course with the intention to Learn, Level up and get Certified. I got all of that in my four day / 30 hour intensive training.

Even as a person not of a yoga background, I was still able to appreciate the course. I felt like I leveled up a life skill. I loved the hands-on, immersive and somatic experience of the breathwork and cold immersion.

Value packed, really felt the value being delivered, over-delivering. I highly recommend this course for anyone who wants to become a Teacher in training."

Marj Ostani

"I took a leap of faith and joined Sagara Masterclass with less than two weeks before its forthcoming training/retreat. What I've gained coming out was more and beyond, where I found new budding friendships, re-connection with myself, and getting to know the Source.

This 4-day immersion practicing pranayama, cold immersion, and mindfulness truly changed me in many ways possible. Being able to express them with this community was the most heart-expanding experience.

I left Sagara transformed and whole. Nothing is going to be the same moving forward. Thank you for finding me, Sagara."

Rochelle Velasco

"This training not only gave me the knowledge to confidently lead, but it also brought back my confidence. It positively impacted my routine and mood—I've noticed a boost in my energy and mindset.

I love the framework that Sagara created for cold immersion. I couldn't believe that during my second ice bath experience, I was able to stay in for a full 10 minutes. This just shows how powerful and transformative the training has been.

This training has truly transformed my routine, my mood, and my outlook on life, and I can't wait to share what I've learned with others!"
